  • Position: Assistant – Operations
    Location: MWS Bethany Nursing Home – Choa Chu Kang

    Key Responsibilities

    Ground Maintenance:
    • Ensure that the drainage around the garden and within the Home is cleared of all debris and stagnant water
    • Take care of the gardens inclusive of grass cutting, watering, weeding etc
    Equipment and Building Maintenance:
    • Conduct general repair and maintenance of wheelchair and equipment.
    • Conduct general maintenance of the premises
    • Maintenance of nursing equipment e.g. autoclave, oxygen concentrator, nebulizer & air compressor (gym)
    • Prepare and arrange rooms in the Home for different functions
    • Report to the Reporting Officer of any equipment malfunction or breakdown
    Inventory Management:
    • Assist the Supervisor - Facilities in assets movement and labeling of assets
    • Assist the Store Officer in inventory management e.g. receiving stocks, weekly distribution of supplies to wards
    • Update the Store Officer on stock level and replenishment where required
    • Assist the Supervisor - Facilities /Driver-in-charge where required in management, delivery and / or collection of goods or donations
    Relief Duties:
    • Cover the security and customer service duties of the security officer or Assistant – Administration, in his / her absence
    • Cover driving and dispatch duties in absence of driver, if the incumbent has valid driving licence
    Others:
    • Participate as member of the Home’s Fire Safety Committee
    • Any other duties as assigned by the Supervisor – Operations, Executive, Senior Manager or Head of Centre
    Prerequisites / Requirements:
    • Minimum Primary School education
    • At least 2-3 years of relevant experience
    • Possess valid class 3 driver’s licence is preferred but not mandatory
    • Able to do shift work, inclusive of weekends and public holidays (6days work week)

  • Position: Executive – Case Management
    Location: MWS Christalite Methodist Home

    Key Responsibilities
    • Identify and conduct one-to-one or small group therapy sessions for residents with Dementia who requires special attention.
    • To focus on the targeted group and work towards in improving their quality of life and overall well-being.
    • Plan and work towards promoting a person-centered care (PCC) environment within the home.
    • Track status of well-being and dementia assessments of residents, in collaboration with other care professionals, and implement dementia PCC ICP for them.

    Key Responsibilities

    Donor Management
    • Strategize and develop donation requirements to meet the needs of the Centre
    • Identify potential donor sources, handle donor enquiries and match donors with suitable opportunities
    • Foster strong relations with donors and partners through engagements and appreciation

    Events Management

    Key Responsibilities

    A.Programme Implementation
    • Assist Head of SACs in coordinating programme and activities organized by the Centre i.e. the Community Befriending Programme.
    • Assist in programme planning.

    Key Responsibilities
    • Liaise with various service providers and partners to provide a one-stop information and referral service to elderly members on health care, befriending and home care services.

    • Assist Head of Centre in planning, implementing and coordinating programmes and services for elderly members.

    Primary Responsibilities and Duties (80%)
    • Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care of resident with complex healthcare needs according to updated standards of nursing practice.
    • Conducts teaching and counselling for residents and their families/care-givers
    • Initiates and ensures implementation of discharge planning for residents with potential for discharge.

  • Position: Senior Executive / Executive – Case Management

    Key Responsibilities
    • Identify and assess the needs of the residents; then develop the Individualized Care Plan (ICP) for each resident; follow through with appropriate intervention plans.
    • Conduct monthly meetings to discuss / plot the progress of the ICPs with relevant personnel within the organization.
    • Complete the Client Assessment and Support Tool (CAST) upon admission, during regular reviews, incorporate results into the ICP, and prepare detailed and comprehensive reports for submission to the MSF Review Committee.
    • Work with Senior Welfare Officer on developing an appropriate system to reward as well as deny residents of privileges to modify their behavior positively. Jointly administer the program.
    • Review all admissions, discharges, escape from lawful custody and deaths.
    • Update residents address on NRIC and follow up with replacement of NRIC when required
    • Sourcing for jobs for able bodies residents who are capable of working outside of the home. Guide these residents so that they can successfully adapt to the working environment and the people around them.
