About MWS Fellowship on the Greens
This annual event was first held in 1989 and pioneered by former Senior Minister of State, the late Dr Tay Eng Soon, and the late Mr Edwin Chan. It remains one of the significant fundraising events for Methodist Welfare Services (MWS). Besides raising funds for the less fortunate in our community and raising awareness of MWS causes, the event has brought together thousands from the Methodist community to play, learn and share over the last 33 years. In the past 5 years alone, MWS’ charities and beneficiaries have been blessed and critically supported by over $2 million donated through this event.

Methodist Welfare Services (MWS) is passionate about empowering people who experience poor family support, relationships, health, options, dignity and financial resources. We empower them by journeying with them to uncover their inherent strengths and abilities, and caring for them through an integrated and holistic approach.
Funds raised through this event will go towards supporting critical services and programmes under MWS’ care that help almost 9,000 disadvantaged children, youth at-risk, distressed families, chronically ill and frail elderly, and the socially isolated.
