Child Welfare Practice Model

  • Due to the increase in reported child maltreatment cases in Singapore, we developed a Model to guide our social work practitioners in the appropriate approach
  • This Model acts as an anchor for our social work practitioners in such cases, leading them towards an appropriate approach drawn from the details of the trauma experienced

Trauma-informed Care Practice

  • Trauma is a common outcome of adverse life experiences, which include relationship violence, neglect, abuse, and poverty
  • In developing the interventions, our professional staff will recognise the impact of these events on our clients’ biological and psychosocial functioning
