  • Position: Assistant Kitchen
    Location: MWS Bethany Nursing Home - Choa Chu Kang

    Key Responsibilities
    • The Assistant – Kitchen Operation is responsible for organizing and controlling the efficiency and economic production of quality and appetizing meals within the allowed budget, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
    • Undertakes other instructions from superior as needed

    Stock & Supplies
    • Raise requisition orders as per menu requirement
    • Prepare and issue stock and supplies for daily food preparation
    • Assist to track inventory, monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock checks

    Kitchen Maintenance

    Key Responsibilities

    Ground Maintenance
    • Ensure that the drainage around the garden and within the Home is cleared of all debris and stagnant water
    • Take care of the gardens inclusive of grass cutting, watering, weeding etc

    Equipment and Building Maintenance
    • Conduct general repair and maintenance of wheelchair and equipment.

    Key Responsibilities:
    Programme Implementation:
    • Assist Head of Centre in coordinating programmes and activities organized by the Centre.
