  • Position: Assistant Kitchen
    Location: BETHANY METHODIST NURSING HOME

    Key Responsibilities
    • The Assistant – Kitchen Operation is responsible for organizing and controlling the efficiency and economic production of quality and appetizing meals within the allowed budget, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

    Stock & Supplies
    • Raise requisition orders as per menu requirement
    • Prepare and issue stock and supplies for daily food preparation

  • Position: Assistant - Support
    Location: Bethany Methodist Nursing Home & MWS Nursing Home (Yew Tee)

    Key Responsibilities
    1) Ground Maintenance
    • Ensure that the drainage around the garden and within the Home is cleared of all debris and stagnant water
    • Take care of the gardens inclusive of grass cutting, watering, weeding etc

    2) Equipment and Building Maintenance
    • Conduct general repair and maintenance of wheelchair and equipment.

    Key Responsibilities
    The Assistant Manager - Community Partnership is responsible for the management of volunteers, community partners, grassroots organisations and donors as well as the development and running of events in the Home.

    Volunteer and Donor Engagement
    • Lead the Community Partnership team and oversee volunteer management based on MWS central guidelines and policies.

    The Senior Social Worker works closely with Agency for Integrated Care (AIC) on referrals from the hospital and other voluntary welfare organisations (VWOs) to provide high quality care for the residents and their families. The incumbent is responsible to support a co-ordinated approach with multi-discipline stakeholders to review regularly aspects of medical, nursing, allied health and social services concerning residents for the purpose of care management.
    Key Responsibilities:-
    Admission
    • Oversee and ensure the assessment of all referrals for admissions, withdrawals / rejection according to service standards criteria.

    • Review social aspects of residents in ward with regards to activity participation, visitors and befriending rates, and financial status
    • Propose social recommendations and support family and resident to complete home discharge or step down care
    • Participate in MDTC and discharge care planning of residents
    • Liaise with residents and their family members
    • Coordinate care planning of residents prior to discharge, and facilitate integration of residents in the community with their families and/or next-of-kin

    • Assist with payment of nursing home charges & short-term financial support to patients

    Pre-Requisities:-
    • Degree in Social Work or Accredited Social Worker
