MWS Bethany Nursing Home – Choa Chu Kang
Creative Arts Workshop Teach creative arts to residents such as painting, flower arrangement and calligraphy. MWS Christalite Methodist Home Frequency: Weekly, Bi-weekly
Expressive Art Using art & craft, residents are taught a new craft each time through different techniques such as paper quilling, origami, painting, and colouring

– Assist in the preparation and set-up (e.g., remove chairs in the hall) for the activities
– Porter residents to activity venue before and after the activity
– Ensure the safety of residents during the activity
– Befriend and engage residents during the activity

MWS Nursing Home – Yew Tee Frequency: Fortnightly,

Every 1st and 3rd Thursday 9.30 am-10.45 am

MWS Active Ageing Centre – Kebun Baru Frequency: Weekly
Activity Facilitator – Co-develop and lead planned activities with staff (Examples: art & craft, skills baking, Zumba)
– Train staff & volunteers to conduct and facilitate activity
– Assist to implement and facilitate activities for clients
– Engage clients during the session
MWS Senior Care Centre – Eunos At least once a week or 4 hours per engagement
Creative Learning – Empower at-risk youths (girls) with different techniques and create something by hand
– Organise and teach a series of activities to them

E.g.: Scrapbooking, sewing, knitting, crocheting, batik painting, fabric painting, silk screening, decoupage, soap making, jewellery making

MWS Girls’ Residence Frequency: Weekly
Children’s Programme Developer – Organise hands-on activities
– Facilitate games for kids 0 – 9 years as part of childminding support, especially for onsite webinars
MWS Family Support Programme With the possibility to have onsite parenting programmes, we do need to standby childminding support for parents with pre-schoolers/young children (0-9years) so that parents can attend FSP events with full attention/focus.
